I am thrilled to be a part of the Connect program as a Learning Detective and teacher. I believe every student deserves the opportunity to flourish and be met right where they are. My teaching philosophy is centered on a hands-on approach, where I love to get in on the action and make learning both fun and meaningful. My passion lies in social-emotional learning and teaching the skills that empower students to succeed, both academically and personally. My background includes over two decades of experience working with kids and teaching a wide range of subjects, from theater and communication to college-level learning frameworks. I also have a global perspective from my teaching and travels in Turkey, Ghana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Tanzania. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, outdoor adventures, walking with my pets, and pursuing my passion for singing. As a parent myself, I know how important it is for every child to feel supported, and I look forward to partnering with you to ensure your student has the best possible experience in the Connect program. · You can review many of the digital instructional materials used in class directly through your student's digital webdesk. If you'd like to review additional materials or tests after they've been administered, please contact me.
