Miller, Elizabeth
Elizabeth Miller
World Cultures & Geography Teacher
PACE Specialist

I have been teaching since 2001 and all but two of those years have been teaching middle school in Plano ISD. I was given the honor to open Murphy Middle School in 2003 and then opened Otto Middle School back in 2010. I love World Cultures & Geography, which has been my area of focus for all but one of those years. I moved to the Plano area with my husband in 2003 from St. Paul, Minnesota and still miss the changing seasons. I am lucky enough to be a Mom to my son and a former exchange student "daughter" from Brazil that now lives in Oklahoma. I love to travel and do so as often as my pocket book will let me!
Teaching, specifically middle school, is a passion of mine. I hope to motivate, inspire and mentor my students to become problem-solvers in the real world.
The best teachers are those who show you where to look, but don't tell you what to see!
