Mr. Killgo has been teaching since 2022, and teaches the Beginning Trumpet, French Horn, Low Brass, and Percussion classes, as well as Symphonic Band, Upper Brasswinds, and also assists with Wind Ensemble and Otto Jazz. His primary instrument is the trombone, and ensembles under his direction have consistently earned Superior and Sweepstakes ratings at UIL contests. Mr. Killgo is a proud graduate of Texas Tech University. While in Lubbock he was an active member of the Texas Tech Trombone Studio, TTU Symphonic Band, and Goin’ Band from Raiderland! Before graduating, he completed his student teaching in Lewisville ISD, and was a substitute in Plano ISD for a semester after graduation. While not teaching, he enjoys playing video games, listening to music, and being outdoors with friends!
