Howdy and Hello! My name is Sam Gonzalez, and I am excited to be teaching 7th ELA at Otto Middle School. I've been at Otto since 2024!
I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with degrees in Psychology and Child Development, I discovered my passion for working in the middle school classrooms and sought my alt. cert. in both Social Studies and English Language Arts.
I believe in creating a stimulating and supportive classroom environment where students can thrive and become interested in reading and learning. When I'm not teaching syntax and poem structure, I enjoy spending quality time with my three cats and reading British literature, particularly Frankenstein and Dracula.
